Not to mention within walking distance of Gerrard Square, Riverdale Park, and....Jilly's!

    Maldive's Waterfront compilation

Ha! I don't know if I was 'TONY'. I was 'troodie' on the old forum, but I may have been TONY at one point too. Ah well. Also, does the first render remind anyone else of the logo/clip for one of the major production companies that plays before movies? Damn, I can't remember what the...

    Maldive's Waterfront compilation

Actually, I've been around since the ssp days, and a member of this forum since day one; I just don't post much. You should be flattered that I crawled over my keyboard to praise you. ;)

    Maldive's Waterfront compilation

Thank you so much. This city is already a monster, and getting so much stronger. If this is indeed what Toronto looks like in a decade, it will be impossible to ignore on a global stage.

    East Danforth

I have no problem debating an issue, but I'm not about to waste my time on someone who tells you how it is while leaving no room for civilized debate. Good riddance.

Oh my, you are so intelligent.

    East Danforth

So the guy who labels the Middle East a shithole is calling for an intelligent argument? Throwing out talk of oil reserves and seperation of church and state isn't hiding the racist foundation of what you're saying, and neither is your dismissal of cultural equality as 'ludicrous PC notions'.

    'lesser cultures'. You serious?

Cloud Gardens Park & Bay-Adelaide Centre

Thanks for the pictures. Does anyone know why there's always a tree on the top floor of the BA construction? I've walked by several times, when the building's been at varying heights and I always notice that there's a small tree on the top floor. You can see it here in the sixth photo down...

The woman in the blue looks like Klaus Kinski in Fitzcarraldo. This is no opera house in the jungle, though.

I thought the plans did call for a public space there.

He said "the density on that lower west side", not "the density in the lower west side". He was referring to a geographical location, not naming a neighbourhood.

CATHEDRAL SQUARE - fictional piazza concept

Ha! Well done! Surely his EA will never forget you. Do not give up on this proposal though, there must be other avenues for an idea so good.

I too remember that. It hurt. It hurt real bad.

CATHEDRAL SQUARE - fictional piazza concept

Excellent, excellent work here 3D. Please keep us posted on any and all developments-no matter how small. I'm really a big fan of this.

That food court looks like it belongs in an airport.

CATHEDRAL SQUARE - fictional piazza concept

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of those who love this idea. Great job on the render. I hope we can at least drum up some publicity for the idea--maybe get it out to the 'average citizen', and see if they demand something like this. Dundas Sq. seems to be a success (the square), so...

    It's a Shopper's Drug Mart. Wee.

I still call the Skydome the Skydome, and so does every single sports fan I know. Nobody wants to refer to it as Rogers Centre, so they don't.

I would also think that the sign on the side that says 'Metropolis' will have the 'Toronto Life Square' logo on it as well.
