    Best Buy

What about Pets Mart? It is in between those two. It would make sense for CT to take over both locations and have a decent sized store. Of course if it is still to be managed by the same tool as now it will not be any better, just bigger.

    Target

That is odd. Before Christmas my wife was checking on things and always got a quick answer on the phone. She said that the staff on the phone and in store were the most helpful of any she dealt with around Christmas.

    Leaside and its Aerodrome

At the end of the article: CORRECTION: February 2, 2014, 7:20 PM This post originally stated that The Toronto Ski Club erected their own jump in January of 1934 at a site on the east side of the Don Valley; in fact, that site was on the west side of the Don Valley.

How long will it take? This is not a new thing with CT, being going on for a good 10 years, as long as I have lived in Toronto. No excuse other than a willingness to ignore it.

    Sears Canada (1952-2017)

Which supermarket do you primarily do your groceries at?

I have a Superstore and Metro right near me. Usually Superstore but often I will stop at a Valu-Mart on the way home from work. There are more Valu-marts than one might think in Toronto. It is hard to find on their website because they have it all broken down into Toronto, Scarbough, Don...

    Sears Canada (1952-2017)

I think HBC took over the rights when the agreement ran out. HBC bought Simpsons but after that there were still Simpson-Sears locations (Oshawa Centre being one) but they did all rebrand.

    Toronto Eaton Centre

Huge deal really. I guess three floors are enough if Sears is keeping it's head office there. You know, until they go out of business anyway.

    Canadian Tire

I had Leslie hit me with the same just over a week ago. Said it was in stock and they could not find. It was a large item too, a ceiling rack for in the garage.

    Canadian Tire

Probably just assumed they would not be able to find them :)

    Canadian Tire

I find CT to have the worst store level inventory control ever. I am constantly finding more than one CT (I thought it was just poor management at Eglinton and Laird but now proven false) never have the inventory their systems say they have. The funny thing: store staff agree with me! I have...

    Sears Canada (1952-2017)

Someone at work is leaving to take a IT position at Sears. A couple of us asked, WTF?? Why they would do that I have no idea.

Miscellany Toronto Photographs: Then and Now

When it was built it was already on infill. The real shoreline was north of that!

Toronto Architecture From The 1960's and 70's

It is all inside as far as I know. I have not seen any outside change. They did redo the roof, but that can be considered regular maintenance.

Toronto Architecture From The 1960's and 70's

There is a renovation going on right now as well. The Don Mills Camera club has been evicted until January.

    More Lost Toronto in colour

The British influence! They still use that term.
