Just noticed they removed half the work/storage platform that was hanging off the top of the podium (last week)...

Wondering how much further they can go before raising the concrete boom. They can probably place the concrete for the walls on this level, but they’ll need to do it before they start placing the forms for the next slab…

They’re going to paint a vintage style billboard for the Brass Rail, something that will maintain the upscale character of the street…

Or the cost of fabrication and development of those specific column forms vs the more traditional wall forms.

I reckon that it won’t be too long now. That southwest corner that’s been formed forever has been cleaned up, extra rebar removed, and curtain wall anchors are all in place.

Looks like the first mechanical levels of The One will be similar in height to the mechanical levels of 2BW, and the second mechanical levels around the top of that building...

These forms have been in place for awhile, maybe they got around to them, or something like them...

They complete one floor in a week and I will fly to Toronto and buy a round for my friends on this forum... 🥃

Admittedly a small data sample, but the best they've done since reaching the hotel floors is a week to setup and pour walls, and a week to setup and pour a floor slab. At that rate we are looking at around three years to top out. And not accounting for any future strikes or global events . . .

Yes, starting with seven. They just poured the slab for ten.

I enjoy following the “progress” of this building, but my god, tall structures all across North America have poured their pads and topped out in the time this one has reached 9 out of 85 levels…

They should do the cladding on the H&M wall too, just to be neighborly...

And they’ll need iron workers for the rebar?
