I'm really happy to hear that they're going to bring in artists to paint them. The greyness of it was my only real gripe. Can't wait to see this in the summer!

That eastern facade is embarrassing and insulting.

The orange colour at street level is a breath of fresh air. I've been hoping bold colour would catch on for a while. Picasso, Pace, and now this are proof that grey is not the way!

We need a moratorium against that grey spandrel. It is soul sucking and looks cheap from day one.

Too bad they didn't stick with the white cladding and spandrel from the previous phases. It would have looked much sharper.

Aura was great on paper. It's had all the potential in the world, it just stumbled and crashed before the finish line. The execution is painful in some places, and the underground is one of the worst urban experiences ever presented. Sometimes the initial promise of its greatness shines through...

If they clad this thing in curved glass and choose a striking colour scheme it could be stunning.

Those are fantastic! Immediately recognizable; an ode to our cold yet often charming winter; colours that pair with the accents of the building; whimsical and light; human scaled. I love everything about them, what a pleasant surprise!

Should help reduce the wind off the tower as well. It's particularly windy here thanks to the flat facade and minuscule tower setback.

If we had two towers there would be far less land for the park on the remainder of the site.

Porter gave me a pretty great view of the skyline on the solstice. Didn't want to spam it on every thread, so I picked this one because it like how it shows how much of a landmark Aura really is, for better or worse.
