    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

And I think it's safe to say, unless we see a large shift in council, that they'll be there for a long time until finally becoming permanent.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I don't disagree, but it doesn't really answer my question. We all know it makes sense and should come back, do they (Metrolinx) know it's coming back for sure?!

Saw this on CycleTO's Instagram but can't find more info on it.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

The business case for Park Lawn says their ridership numbers are based on the fare integration with TTC that is no longer there. Either it's outdated or they know something we don't.

I imagine all the ebike docks will be downtown, although having 1 or 2 in NY & Scarbs could be interesting, giving people the option to ebike between zones.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I've seen renders of a long bike lane, my next question was to see if anyone knew the status of that. My hope is they turn Eglinton into something special, there's certainly the space. I think the Danforth Main Streets thing is gonna showcase what Eglinton could be pretty well.

Toronto GO Transit: Davenport Diamond Grade Separation | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

There's quite a few spots I could see being redeveloped right around Lansdowne and Bloor. That whole triangle from Bloor to College/Dundas is ripe for new builds.

I know we're a ways-off, probably, but anyone know when we can expect Eglinton to start looking more like a real road again? I remember hearing something about "a year or so before opening" somewhere, since at that point almost all the work will be below ground. Any thoughts on this?

Walked down Shaw today, they've totally ripped up the top layer of road. The rebuild has started!

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Is there any reason Liberty Village doesn't have more bike lanes? East Liberty is basically a 4 lane road with 0 markings for a sizable chunk. LV could have a pretty great cycling network. Edit: wrote this then remembered the new street running parallel to the train tracks at the south end of...

I've read that the ActiveTO lanes will all be in place "by summer", presumably June 21st!

Was wondering which of the announced lanes would come first. Looking forward to seeing University with bike lanes!

Through the core, yeah, King probably doesn't need bike lanes. Since Adelaide/Richmond don't properly go west of Bathurst, King would be the obvious choice to extend those lanes westward, as far as I'm concerned. West of Bathurst on King is far wider than the transit corridor stretch, and there...

I could see lanes on King, Bathurst to Dufferin since the road widens up there, but this seems ways off sadly.

Got another link? I've turned on every filter available and it doesn't show me any work planned for University. EDIT: Totally misread your comment

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Tory said on CP24 this morning that the city was announcing 40km of lanes today, Bloor (Shaw-Runnymede), Danforth (?), Bloor (Avenue-Sherbourne) & University (Likely the same stretch those politicians that were called out for playing politics proposed)

Maybe someone can tell Doug and he can hold off on that highway expansion

So if Uber bought Shift Transit and shut it down, TPA would just find a new contract?

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

I realised something about Davenport, and the bike lanes along it. A very sizeable chunk of the parking spaces are unusable because they block driveways, meaning there's a huge chunk of road space dedicated to even less than a parked car. I wonder who'd design the road to include so much dead...

Emailed Matlow asking him to do this on Yonge, he's a good councillor but often quiet about cycling.
