    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I believe a watered down version is being installed at St George and Bloor as well as University and Elm.

Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson) Campus Public Realm

I know what you mean, but they have to design it this way for emergency vehicles.

    Bloor Street West Bike Lanes

It'd cost the entire bike lane budget and then some to raise that bike lane to the sidewalk.

Oh man those bus stops! An island for people to board and alight from without directly entering the bike lane. Revolutionary...or Dutch.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

The 16 is great although I'd rather more regular rail to Hamilton, if I had to have one or the other. Any word on what's happening at West Harbour? Any chance they're building a through-track, to end this madness?

Rode up and down Danforth a bunch today. Quite the Danfor-mation, you might say.

    Toronto Bike Share

https://www.cycleto.ca/news/eglinton-bike-lane-and-midtown-yonge-updates According to CycleTO the at-grade portion's bike lanes are planned but in between below-grade stations will be up to the city, still.

I'd wager they were hit by larger, heavier vehicles. They're a great addition but I'm always looking forward to the next iteration.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

There's at least a handful of instances where these, or similar concrete barriers, have been damaged because of turning vehicles. Sherbourne/Richmond and Queen's Park/Hoskin come to mind.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Spoke to a guy the other day who was sitting on my ass in his SUV all the way from the driveway just east of Yonge to Church. He said "I was trying to merge". Some sort of protection can't come soon enough, and I imagine this coming week we will see some. Canada Day week is a slow one, but...

    Laneway Housing and Garden Suites

Can't find any info on starting a business in a laneway. I see the odd business but presumably they're grandfathered in somehow. I dream of running a bike shop in a laneway.

Any word on them ebikes? Would be cool to have them in the different zones so people could use them to travel between zones.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I've been seeing various posts about this car all day, on Twitter and elsewhere. They were there yesterday, and apparently are quite clueless.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I was wondering how they'd handle this part. The design called for a "parkette" if I recall, and the installation of a BikeShare station.

I'm quite happy with Shaw, although it's not quite finished yet. I'd have liked to see raised intersections and more traffic calming measures. There are signs that say "Single File" and show a bicycle in front of a car but I get danger passed and honked at on Shaw still.

Just rode on the new Dundas stretch, hard to say how much if effects traffic when both the 504 and the 501 are routing through there at the moment which of course throws everything off.

Those concrete protections on Richmond sure are taking a while to install. They're amazing, dont get me wrong, but the whole thing is moving at a snail's pace.

They're putting one on every street corner it seems! Super cool

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Since there's so much conversation about renaming Dundas Street maybe Dundas West Station should be renamed Bloor to match the GO station? Just a thought. Figured the GO station would become Dundas West, eventually, but here we are!
