    Ontario Northland/Northern Ontario Transportation

Looks like some of the Polar Bear Express equipment found a home with the York Durham Heritage Railway. Photo taken in Uxbridge on March 31.

I was wondering about that section between Oba and Hurst myself. It was not specifically mentioned in the document.

It's too bad the Newmarket sub right of way wasn't still intact between Washago and Allendale. That would pretty much avoid CN's intermodal conflicts, however it would require Metrolinx negotiation for slots south of Allendale.

Metrolinx announcement; "We've installed new shelters at the Acton GO Station, learn how we are we are taking one more step towards all day 2 way on the Kitchener line here"

Would those have been footings for an old pier? It is amazing just how much we have pushed out the shoreline from its original location.

Unfortunately with Metrolinx lately I always think of a quote by a former US President, "Great idea, ............doesn't work!"

If E-Sports goes completely defunct, at least this will be a much needed mid sized venue for many other events.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Partially, maybe, however I do believe the long term concept for Cooksville station was to construct residential towers in the area of the surface parking lot. Taking up surface parking for the proposed residential towers necessitated the need to move some of the parking capacity to a parking...

As a GO Transit Station Attendant, I witness this often. For example, take a weekend service reduction or closure where rail is cancelled for a construction project. No matter how much Metrolinx communicates via Twitter posts, posts on the GO Transit website, on board announcements a full week...

I wonder if any other archaeological artifacts have been discovered during this dig. Being a wharf that had I assume ships containing goods, and what might have been littered around.

micheal_can said lets make sure that blue dosen't win in our ridings, meaning, I assume, that we ensure PC candidates are not elected. I countered the Red (Liberal MP's) did wonders for The Northlander train sarcastically meaning that they did not, in fact they were the ones who canceled the...

    Barrie Collingwood Railway (BCRY)

I often watch a YouTube Channel called Virtual Rail Fan which is a collection of CCTV cameras along various rail routes. I have noticed that many of the American trains often have piggybacked truck trailers of the courier companies (FedEx, UPS and Amazon) I have wondered why those courier...

    The Retail Apocalypse

With all this retail falling to the wayside, I am curious how the liquidation process is taking place. During a liquidation in normal times, stock would either be liquidated on site or sold to a third party to re sell at different locations (Closeout King, Brands Gone Wild and other pop up...

    Whitchurch-Stouffville Stouffville Commons | ?m | 16s | Corebridge | CXT

I do believe the proposal is actually a development of the greenfield north of Hoover Park Drive, NOT a re-development of the south side Smart Centre retail buildings.

    SmartTrack (Proposed)

Was this not the end goal when the Province created Metrolinx? If it took, 5,10 or 50 years I thought the intent was to make Metrolinx a Translink, TfL or STM.
