    Mississauga Absolute World | 169.77m | 56s | Cityzen | MAD architects

That's what was speculated earlier but an article from the developer stated it would be in the actual core (minus central shafts). Not sure which page it is on it is, but I believe it was from earlier in this year (Jan/Feb if you want to go looking in the earlier pages).

Mississauga News: Condos make a comeback

There have been a few townhouse condos going up in Mineloa/Mineloa West over the last ~4 years. Most aren't that substantial (5 units max) but have been doing pretty well for th4mselves regardless. If I'm back in town sometime, I'll try to go out and pinpoint them exactly. They seem to post-date...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Actually, Mississauga is the larger of the two. Mississauga: 288.42 km^2 Brampton: 266.71 km^2

    Transit Cost Chart

With the obvious mistake for 'Toronto Spadina', I'm not sure how much trust I put into this chart. It seems most of these costs are still preconstruction estimates so they hold not value since infrastructure projects almost always come in over budget, meaning the estimate is the low end figure...

    Uptown Waterloo grows Up

Ignore my original post. It's something else, but no one on campus that I've talked to seems to know what.

    Mississauga U of T: UTM Terrence Donnelly Health Sciences Complex | ?m | 4s | U of T | Kongats

UTM is pretty easy to wander around and take pics of. From what I remember, weekends are sometimes hit and miss since generally it's only the library, student centre, rec and CCT buildings that are unlocked. It might have changed but that was my experience from three years ago.

    Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

But that's completely the fault of the TTC and Toronto City Council. York knew what it wanted and lobbied for it (and got it). The TTC wanted LRT and that's what it got. You can't blame York Region for getting a subway over Toronto when Toronto didn't even try. The TTC is moaning about the Yonge...

    Highway 427: Highway or Homes

Unless I'm mistaken, BCC is smaller than Vaughan Mills by ~100,000 to 200,000 feet which is a noticeable difference. I also think it's under renovations so I'm not sure how much of it is has been moved around.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Ever since I saw Places to Grow, I thought it was a mistake not to reconize Port Credit as an urban growth centre, even if it was only at the growth targets set out for the smaller cities like Galt and Brantford (even though it could easily handle the standard ones).

    Mississauga Stonebrook Condominiums | ?m | 18s | United Lands | Dietrich Boecker

I wouldn't say the area is sketchy. I think it's more because the are is a lower middle class working neighbourhood and doesn't really offer any big "incentives" for living there compared to somewhere else with similarly priced units, like MCC or Port Credit. The only draw is the fact that it's...

    Clarkson - Rattray Marsh

Oh man, how I miss the Marsh. Can't wait to hit it up again when I get back into town. Good Pics!

    Subway To Mississauga: Routing

The bus service during peak periods is already every 5-6 minutes for the most part and it's dreadfully under capacity, from pretty much Port Credit to Shopper's World. We could boost it up to levels of Finch but all that would do is cause bunching and not really help at all. LRT with higher...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

As long as it can be affectionately called ‘The Hurricane’ I don’t see why anyone would be against it. But MCC has failed twice as trying to keep a site specific shuttle afloat. I guess with this idea it would be higher frequencies, but with a skytrain hullabaloo sort of thing for just MCC, we...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

The interm downtown station (the current VIA Station) will only have 45 spots, of which all seem to be reserved for VIA from what happened at the PIC #2. The Bresleau station (what I would call the outer fringe of K-W) will have the 1100 spots.

Globe: Mississauga enters new phase of city-building

But when your a pedestrian walking through the area, a 60ft+ detour can be a pain.

    Mississauga Stonebrook Condominiums | ?m | 18s | United Lands | Dietrich Boecker

A large amount of the south side is part of a park that the city let them intrude into during construction. The intruded land + more land is going back to the park, with more upgrades. Before it was pretty much just a patch of grass with some benches. I believe this is also the north tower so...

And Port Credit, (I believe) Streetsville, parts of Clarkson, some waterfront parks as part of a pilot project...

I never thought of that. Tim Hortons seems like MoMA compared to it.

Globe: Mississauga enters new phase of city-building

On-street parking along Burnhamthorpe (and the removed right hand turn lane), the removed right hand turn island, bike lanes along Confederation, Confederation bridge pedestrianized bridge, street retail in new buildings (including the popular Second Cup in the Capital Tower North)... things are...
