Toronto CampusOne Student Residence (was University Place) | 79.85m | 25s | Knightstone | Diamond Schmitt

I believe it's being converted into an LCBO, where the one a block away will move into. EDIT: 491 College - http://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/491-college-st-latvian-house-property-allied-riocan.20378/

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

Really, the only people I can think of that can't eat Halal (other than vegetarians) are Sikhs. As DSC pointed out, when it comes down to eating "normal" meat vs halal meat, it's just two sides of the same coin.

how long until toronto surpasses chicago on skyscrapers?

Pretty much anything that can prevent positive energy from flowing in through the front door of the house, so that would mean anything large like a tree.

    Toronto Grange Park | ?m | ?s

Underground parking and other building utilities are definitely underneath it. That green space is used as an unofficial dog park right anyways. The newer management isn't as strict about kicking people out. That being said, I can't wait for the dog park to be completed. My closest one right now...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

From my observations (I bike on Palmerston>Harbord>Shaw daily, and reverse on the way back), the majority of bike traffic coming into the Bloor bike lanes from the west are already on Bloor by the time the hit Shaw (this number has increased significantly) and southbound via Shaw traffic has...

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

In a nut shell, Craft Brasserie in LV was inspired by the CRAFT Beer Market bars out west, to the extent that they pretty much borrowed the name. Now the western original is moving in, with no relation, but similar approach to large numbers of craft beers in an open, accessible general public...

Last summer sidewalks on St Clair W around Oakwood were cut up by utilities pretty bad, and they're doing the proper sidewalk concrete pours this week. Not too bad of a time-frame.

    Toronto Eaton Centre (Ongoing Renewal) | ?m | ?s | Cadillac Fairview | Zeidler

Having just experienced UNIQLO for the first time in HK, I'm looking forward as well. No major updates since the initial "Fall 2016" (for both locations) but looks like the Yorkdale location will be mid-October. EDIT: Oh, even more up-to-date info just beat my post, thanks.

Once glass starts going up on the north and west sides I'll start adding pics from that perspective (it's moving a lot slower than the south and east sides). I live in the condo directly to the NW, so will get a pretty good view of the upward build.

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

Exactly. I work across from the St Clair W No Frills (east of Oakwood), and it's awful for both selection and lineups. I detour my bike rides home to hit up either the Dufferin Mall or Dundas/Lansdowne locations even if this adds 20+ min to my commute home downtown.

    St Clair West

The banners at that location have been up for a few weeks (I work right across the street). Here is the project page: http://urbantoronto.ca/database/projects/898-900-saint-clair-avenue-west

    The Junction

The Junction is in this weird gentrification phase right now. Way too many cash money places that are slowly being replaced, but by just as corporate things as Subway a block west of the Campbell Block where that A&W will be. I'm definitely curious as to who else will take up residence the...

    The Junction

I read a few weeks back on a local blog that A&W will be taking up shop where the Sub shop used to be. I only quickly glanced at the floor plan, but the next unit or two on Keele adjacent to it may be part of the plan.

TTC: St. Clair Streetcar Right Of Way

Looking forward to this, but I don't get the last suggested possible improvement?

    Roads: Traffic Signals

This was how I was taught in both in-class and in-car driver's training (10ish years ago). Granted, all of my lessons/testing were done in Mississauga, Kingston, and Waterloo. A far cry in pedestrian congestion.

Also the Gunn's loop west of St Clair and Keele. Otherwise there's no way it can make that right across westbound traffic. Very short dedicated light.

Bike ring installation seems to go a bit quicker if it's a business requesting one in front of their building, rather than individuals requesting them. May want to give that a shot if there's somewhere you go often that lacks adequate bike racks.
