A disabled person in a stroller just came by, strolled around probably looking for the tunnel... First disabled person I have seen here.

Lol the sign is already bringing a lot of new faces into the mall as they walk around looking for an entrance to the subway.

I dont see much wrong with it, perhaps it's too much in the way of the sidewalk? Walking hazard? Also the Malatang restaurant has begun renovations.

Surprisingly they put the ttc sign out so early. Maybe all there is to do now is the drywalling of the entrance? It can be pretty confusing to commuters putting it up this early, unless the tunnel is actually opening soon.

We use the Doris and Beecroft to get to EP from the north. When going on the 401 home yes Yonge street is always clogged up and we need to usually depend on a nice guy to stop and let us merge into Yonge street from Bogert. It becomes quite clogged during lunch and afterwards. The alignment of...

It looks like final closing is actually near for retail units. Got a call today from lawyer says its on the 31st. Hope maintenance fee does not rise... Months of June and onward should be quite exciting for the retail level.

I heard some people down there in the entrance yesterday. The strike probably began today. So I have more info about the whole plumbing situation on retail floor. Apparently the tenant is also at fault for this! What happened was in 2008 when we signed the APS they asked us if we wanted water...

I am pretty glad I did not get water. Those pumps are huge. Not only the pump but also the pipe that goes up from it. They offered us 3K to not get water installed but a lot of people needed the water. Apparently the cost of adding the pipes is in "millions of dollars". Also I've heard that...

Apparently the drywall guys are on strike so they wont be fixing the drywall. This explains why the construction workers have been pretty quiet recently. Drywall will be up to the tenants responsibility. However final closing will be pushed to around middle of May now. They moved all the scissor...

Emerald Park Condos (Bazis International, Plaza, Metropia) - Real Estate

Retails not doing bad. Its just the anchor tenants are slow to come in and may not come in at all. After hearing about todays news, around 22/75 stores have been leased 9 months into being handed keys. Condos here are a steal compared to Vancouver. Residential is doing much better than the...

Yea I think he's talking about the maintenance guy. I've heard nothing but bad from FirstService residential. The computer repair, income tax, printing unit is going to start renovating soon. So far the mall has seen the following open, renovating and looking to renovate: - Ice cream store -...

I don't think we should be so quick to judge the construction workers. They may be waiting on supplies or orders from TMG. In a big project such as this you cannot rush things and in construction you can't rush things or you risk injury. The current excuse is that more and more problems come up...

This is what the Metro looks like now. The only thing left i can see are the exhaust vents. The info was from another unit owner who talked to the developer and the developer said that, though it could be a while ago. My info was also from the developer. Pretty conflicting info so the...

Bad news guys. Word is Metro will not be opening here. The situation is like this: Metro owns the entire 2nd floor and has leased around half to LCBO. Metro wants to rent the property out to a higher class tenant like Whole Foods instead of using it themselves. When the representative said Metro...

No problem guys. A guy who has rented a unit but has not renovated yet told me today that they have signed however they are waiting on the LCBO to start operating before they will start paying rent and renovate. I am just wondering just how many of these empty units are actually rented out but...
