From the history that I've been able to find, it was built as a tavern for travelers heading out of town and was always used as a watering hole. I don't know when it was changed over to a hotel...

The park is city owned and the community garden is being started there with permits from the city. We are just against how they have designed it. Community gardens are great but they need to be designed with safety in mind and not take over a 1/3 of the park in an area already starved for...

GBC was for sale last year and am not sure if it was sold. Apparently, all the leases there have a demo clause in them. I don't think GBC will be gone rather moved into the new building. I would imagine they would incorporate street level retail with LCBO as an anchor tenant.

The space is already leased out to Children"s Book who will be taking over the basement as their storage space. The owner of the starbucks building also owns the rest of the block till deal zone and is looking to create a multilevel LCBO which I think is a welcome change from the crappy run...

I believe 30s is excessive but a new development there would be a welcome change... Now if only someone would buy the whole lot of properties between bleeker and sherbourne, demo them and put a small building there... Would love to see some nice store fronts than what is there right now...

Construction trucks are definitely an issue especially on a busy street such as Sackville. Bollards would definitely be a welcoming change to stop these but I'm sure we will have issues with trucks creeping into driveways etc... Its hard to find parking in Cabbagetown and already see so many of...

This property is currently a rooming house with 22 or 23 rooms in it. It generates a decent profit as well. A bar would do well here... The old brass taps that is an example where we have clients going to a place where no one went before... Same with the underdown bar at the corner of Gerrard...
