    Ontario Northland/Northern Ontario Transportation

So in the end, we have to decide between providing a luxurious service to serve a few people or spreading out the money to provide a more basic service that will serve a lot more people. Just look at the $560 million ice rink fiasco they are making on parliament hill. Don Martin: Parliament...

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

Valid points. However, I feel like the 2 sides can reach a compromise where both visions are realised, as long as a outside power is willing to help the 2 sides come to an understanding.

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

The Conservatives are known to be 'flexible' in order to cut costs, so I am sure that they would love to talk with MOOSE and/or mediate a negotiation between the City of Ottawa and MOOSE.

    VIA Rail

This doesn't make any sense. Why build a monorail when there are so many other cheaper options. Monorails are only useful in urban areas where space is very limited. Anyways, I think a separate rail project in the Montreal-Quebec corridor would only help HFR.

    Subway To Mississauga: Routing

I don't know if this has been said already, but the good folks over at Dundas Connects made it clear that current and future circumstances do not justify a subway into Mississauga on Dundas and onto SQ1. The preferred option is BRT and I agree with that judgement. However, I don't mind...

    Subway To Mississauga: Routing

You can't. The tracks are owned by CP and used by the Milton line GO trains. CP would not allow anymore commuter trains, let alone frequent subway trains.

    Toronto Kipling Station Transit Hub | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | SAI

In the worst case scenario, Islington(once Miway moves to Kipling) will have to do.

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

I don't mind it. I often swear. I am simply using the more conservative definition of 'vulgar' language.

How would he and/or his company benefit from 'selling' to people on this forum?

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

By attack I mean using vulgar language. You have done that plenty on this thread.

    Moose Rail (National Capital Region)

Seriously @kEiThZ, Relax, you attack Potvin a lot more than he does to you. There is absolutely no reason why he would be marketing on Urban Toronto. If you think about it, how many people would he reach on here and how many of those people will actually be of help to his venture? He is simply...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

So you're in the camp of 'I don't mind public transportation initiatives as long as they don't decrease the number of car lanes and have been proposed for half a century and have been studies a billion times camp'. Seriously, drivers in our city have been privileged for too long. It is clear...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

The city really needs to implement this idea. If they install the signals with the vertical white bar then the current ones can be reused elsewhere, right?

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Okay, fair enough. I guess you're right. How long are one of the LRVs you talk about? 30m, 48m? I will take a closer look next time I use the transitway. My opinion was based on my previous experiences of using the stations.
