    VIA Rail

Apologies, I meant profitable in the relative sense. However, it could definitely be profitable with more reliable service. That reminds me of "those trolley buses will be just as good as the streetcars". If I had to choose between being stuck on a train or a bus for a x amount of hours, then I...

    VIA Rail

VIA Rail is doing okay and it's management is fine. Their routes in the Quebec-Windsor corridor are actually profitable, so I don't think VIA Rail will disappear anytime soon. If anything, they are doing better every year. What they really need at this point is some capital funding for fleet...

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

I don't disagree with your point. However, larger vehicles also mean fewer drivers and as a result reduced operating expenses.

Metrolinx: Bombardier Flexity Freedom & Alstom Citadis Spirit LRVs

I thought the Eglinton Crosstown line is going to use the Alstom LRVs, but maybe not Although I do understand your frustrations, 48m LRVs are perfect for the Hurontario LRT because it was suppose to use 2 30m Flexities coupled together. IIRC according to the projected ridership numbers, the 60m...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

It would be at the discretion of the City of Mississauga to provide overnight bus services on Hurontario. Metrolinx/GO Transit has no interest in providing that service, nor would it be practical for them to do so.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I haven't seen that in any official documents, and a simple google search yielded no results other than this section of the Hurontario LRT Wikipedia article.

    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

I believe the Stadler FLIRT DMU is not compatible with Transport Canada regulations, and they don't like to issue waivers unlike the Federal Railroad Administration.

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

Unfortunately I don't live in that area, so I can't comment on how good the neighbourhood is. I would recommend driving through the neighbourhood and looking it up on Google Maps to see the amenities available(community centre, library, grocery stores e.t.c.). As @drum118 suggested, it would be...

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

I personally have never seen Miway buses get delayed for an unreasonable amount of time at SQ1. Not too sure about Zum

Other than possibly SQ 1 and Renforth, there is absolutely no need for such a piece of infrastructure. edit: fare gates and fencing is not feasible at SQ1.

    Mississauga Mississauga Transitway | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | IBI Group

At least from my experience, the bus driver (front door) can easily handle all the boarding. I have not seen any extra long ling ups that delay the bus at any of the stations. Almost all riders have a presto card or bus ticket ready. Mississauga Transitway stations gets very few if any...

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I love how out of all the valid concerns that you could have about grade separation, you come up with a comment about on how inaccessible underground/above ground stations will be. Literally, have you been living under a rock for your whole life. Have you not heard of something called a...

None of the agencies use POP(proof of payment), but since GO Transit buses only have 1 door, it is technically 'all door boarding'.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I am sure they will be used. However, the stops I mentioned are pretty close by and I am sure that transit users can walk an extra hundred meter for the greater good. Having stations close by would mean that the LRV cannot reach very high speeds in that section. I am not calling for an express...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Although I understand that demand on Finch is very local, I would still like to see Driftwood or Jane, Duncanwoods or Pearldale and Stevenson or Albion removed.

    Metrolinx: Other Items (catch all)

Perhaps I could have made myself more clear. The point that I wanted to get across was the list you included did not have the electrification question, which is question number 6 when sorted by popularity.

    Metrolinx: Other Items (catch all)

Ah hah, so Metrolinx has picked their own top ten. Interesting that they would take out the electrification question. Meanwhile, here is the real top ten according to popularity(votes). Thanks for the info @allendale25. *the number of votes has not changed, so no new votes USRC East Noise...

I believe Kipling has the best benefits to cost ratio. My top two would be Martin Grove and Kipling.
