I have to say, I am slightly disappointed by the vibrant orange of the fins. Of course I wont know for sure how it fits until the entire structure is completed however, I was hoping for more of a copper tone, like 60 Colborne. I think the blues from the widows, the reds of the aggregate...

Evidence of the Fins to be installed (or what I must assume are the Fins):

The 2nd Storey windows have made it to the south face of the building. It's hard to see from the image, but there is an interesting striping applied to the last window.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 1) | 231m | 70s | Menkes | a—A

The footprint of just about every component of these two buildings seems so large; are the floorplans bigger than average, or is there a lot of wasted space that will occur in the middle (hallways, etc)

However, I am not so sure that skyline will look so interesting once as all the waterfront towers are in, and basically as far as anyone can tell north of the Gardiner, will be that a wall of condos exists, and no water.

Why is there a single glass panel installed (?) in the staircase to the park? And why is it that panel space, of all the others you might think they would start with. Provided What I said was in any way true, the construction process often seems delightfully haphazard sometimes.

    Toronto 49-51 Yonge Street | 226.86m | 62s | SmartCentres | a—A

Wow, this is gutting... All of the 2nd Empire (and related) buildings in Toronto seem to keep losing pieces of themselves over the years (decades), and this building was such a beautiful example of some of the best, lost, buildings that occupied downtown.

The demolition went very quickly; but now the combined noise from Yonge-Richmond, and now the two condo's on the corner, will be quite something. I feel for those units who face north. (However, Alias will be a beautiful condo)

More like, 'we're watching you' park -- provided how many eyes from the condos/offices look directly into that space.

Office, Residential and actual non-200sqm retail???? Prayers answered. (I can't recall if anyone confirmed that 'theatre' was still a cinema?)

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

The moat took an incredible amount of time to complete. I watched about 10 storeys and all of the cladding complete on CIBC square in the same time it took the moat to begin in earnest, then stop, then crawl to (completion?). Walking through Union station daily has been incredibly tedious...

Im glad they are making use of the space, but frankly this patch of grass is going to be destroyed by the pets from the immediately adjacent condo, as well as some of the locals in our area (this neighbourhood). Perhaps if the staff from the condo will do periodic checks, be visible, etc...

    Toronto 191 Bay | 301.74m | 64s | QuadReal | Hariri Pontarini

I am very excited by the prospect of the observation level, and provided a number of other buildings have at least teased this, I would hope this gets implemented. It is reminiscent of London or Hong Kong/Japan for me, and I think they do very fun things with their commercial districts and...
