Thanks for the pics Current. They are making a lot of progress excavating down to the next level. It appears that they are about 1/4 or 1/3 complete. Once they have completely excavated the next level, do they do another round of retaining wall tie-backs, or do they continue digging?

It also appears that they have turned the camera slightly to the left.

That's a great photo !! I was trying to view the webcam today, but it's taking forever to load up.

Well it seems that the weather is co-operating. They have started to dig further down on the east side of the site. They also have a larger excavator than what they had been using.

The forms were just raised again today. They've done a lot of work when you compare the last webcam photo posted on here (Jan 31) to what they have now.

It appears that they are putting in the remaining retaining wall tie-backs this week. Hopefully we will see more progress in the next couple of weeks than we have in the past couple of months.

It appears that they have now built a new ramp on the north west corner leading into the parking lot behind the church. There were also 5 dump trucks there this morning, and the existing ramp (seen just on the left of the last pic above) is being removed, to revel the last corner. I assume this...

If you check the webcam now, you can see them raising the forms. You haven't missed it yet.

Looking at the webcam, there is a nice huge icicle hanging down on the right side of the camera. Also, it looks like they are starting to raise the forms again.

Just took a quick look at the webcam. The forms on the first setback have now been removed.

I noticed today that they are dumping large amounts of broken rock on the site. Is this to reinforce the ramp used to access the street?

Myself and a co-worker have been following this construction site for a while. To us it seems like they've really slowed down since the new year started. Can anyone tell me what the large blue drilling rig in the middle of that last picture is used for? We've been trying to figure it out, but...
