Work is coming along nicely at this site. Almost all of the dirt has been removed, and they are progressing with their work on the foundation.

That's what I thought when I first looked at the picture.

The crane is being used to lower cement into the foundation this morning. There is a lot of activity at the site today.

So the demolition begins today at 2:00pm. Should be interesting to watch.

They are currently lowering down all of the equipment that they will need to setup the crane this weekend. Lots of activity going on there this morning.

Large red crane components are being delivered to the site right now. It looks like the crane will definitely be going up very very soon !!

I just walked by the site, and they are indeed pouring the foundation for the crane. They have the section for the crane dug out, framed, and reinforced with metal rods. They are pouring the cement into this framed section. Unfortunately, I don't have a camera on me, so if somebody could take...

Not yet. It's the lift for the cement bucket. It appears that they are doing some cement work on the lower foundation. I guess that means the crane will be arriving very soon.

Looks like Caltrane was right... it will be late May when the crane arrives. It's good to see that we have a date for that now.

The forms were raised again this morning, and now they are no longer visible on the webcam. We can also see 3 levels of glass on the webcam, which means we're up to the 12th floor with glass.
