    Allan Gardens Revitalization Plan

Instead of building a new park (rail deck park) we should invest in our existing parks.

    Open concept Vs. Partition

I do own the unit and it is a condo. However, the board is pretty flexible and this addition will not require any changes to the existing structure - two interior walls added. Majority of the units in my build have loft spaces with ladder access - shouldn't be an issue HVAC duct will be...

    Open concept Vs. Partition

Having difficulties embedding the picture - here is the link - https://imgur.com/a/B2tmo Not my unit, but identical layout. The room would go behind the couch (in the square) Pic source: http://torontorealtyblog.com/archives/19565

    Open concept Vs. Partition

I own a large one bedroom hard loft - about 870sqft , high ceilings - about 11 feet. I can potentially divide the living room to make an additional bedroom 7x11 with a loft space above the room (clears about 4 feet) My question is from a resale point of view, is it worth adding the additional...

    Toronto in.DE Dundas East & Jarvis Condominiums | 65.53m | 21s | Menkes | Turner Fleischer

They got the street right but the city wrong. I think this belongs on the corner of Dundas and Mavis

I am really excited for this development. The area has so much potential, but pretty dead.

So many cranes  . The eviction process started for the block on the corner of Gerrard and Parliament. Demolition to begin in September.

Nations fresh food is amazing. Please consider checking out the one at Jackson square. It reminds me of knobhills farm.

    Toronto Islington Terrace | 145.08m | 45s | Tridel | Kirkor Architects

In its current state. I am sure it will look nice, but I am doubtful that the kip district or the Islington terrace will get built anytime soon.

    Toronto The Kip District | 120.44m | 40s | Concert | BDP Quadrangle

It will be more like Square one area than Yonge and sheppard. Depends how many office buildings get built once land is freed up from the reconfiguration of 6 points. If it ends up being just condos, then it will end up like 'downtown' mississauga aka Square one area (yawn).

    Etobicoke City Centre

By far the ugliest skyline in Ontario. Here's hoping that Islington Terrace and the Kip can improve it. My recommendation for this area is to have a square-public domain (Skating arena?), a walkable Grocery store, and get rid of the Good Will at Islington Village.

yikes, I can't see myself spend that much money on a condo :S. How much higher can the price appreciate? 1 block north (near Landsdowne) you can get a 3+1 for 450k. Why the price difference? You can also buy a detached house north of St. Clair for 570k.

Yea I saw that one for sale. I am guessing 3 BR would be 530ish.

I wonder how much a resale three bedroom unit + rooftop patio would cost. Very interested in this development, but not a fan of preconstruction purchases.

living in townhouse at Lawrence/Dufferin (Allen & 401 area) vs downtown condo

I worked in that area for the last 5 years and I hated every minute of it. Traffic is terrible and will get worse once the treviso condos get built. Lawrence Heights is not a place I would want to invest. However, the town houses are nice, especially the units with the roof-top patios.
