I disagree with this park. There is going to be a lot of loitering from the wrong crowds. There is a perfectly under utilized park across the street ( moss park). We should encourage the community to utilize it. A dog park added to moss park is a start.

Ugh I was hoping they would start on this immediately. Why would the city ever delay any development in this bad area of the city. They should be begging developers to build east of downtown.

I hope they improve the variation along Parliament. The two mid rises past the fresh-co building are hideous.

If the Menkes project does well, I would imagine that Filmore's and the adjacent parking lot would be next. The lot on the south west corner of Dundas and Sherbourne is up for sale . Then you have Pemberton development on Church and Dundas

In another thread someone mentioned that some funding was approved for the 2018 budget. I failed to find this on the city website.

With the exponential impact of climate change and the increase of hurricanes along the east coast of the United States, I wonder if this will play a role in where HQ2 ends up. I know for a fact that a large american bank is no longer opening offices along the Hurricane belt due to disruptions...

I really hope I am wrong, I'd love to see moss park and Allan garden revitalized and heavily utilized as Trinity bellwoods.

Either here or reddit r/toronto but I remember someone affiliated with 519 mentioned that they couldn't get full funding. If you go to the the website, they haven't updated it in a while.

For example they couldn't get funding for the Moss Park revitalisation. I believe that's cancelled now.
