New Bloor St facing BMO branch opening on Dec 3, internally located one closing. Some of the the grass seen in the photos above has already been planted on the roof of the addition

The juice store at the western edge of the property (King/Charlotte) has a sign stating they are moving to Spadina Ave Not sure if that is indicative of any sort of demolition happening anytime soon.

Dundas & Bathurst is already closed. I'd assume College & Bathurst will be closing as soon as this one is fully up and running (if it isn't already)

BMO is supposedly opening the new Bloor st facing branch in late November (but I can't really picture how that will happen by the looks of it)

Many execs are also at the Manulife Centre as it is BMO's headquarters for its Canadian banking division. There are rumours about BMO moving out of the Manulife Centre with the new campus at Yonge/Dundas as well as all the new office space coming online in the financial district/south core but...

Don't know if this means anything for the future of this tower, but Brookfield has sold 50% of the Bay-Adelaide Centre to Dadco Investment Group

Looks like it would fit in quite well. That's one of the few buildings on that stretch of Wellington that I could live without. Also can we fix the title of this thread? It's Wellington Street, not Wellington Avenue.

Surprised to see all the positive comments. Are we looking at the same renderings? Because to me it looks like its already undergone the inevitable cheapening that most buildings undergo further along in the process, meaning that it is likely to get even worse. Very few, if any redeeming...

Liquor license application sign is up in the window on the Adelaide side. Applicant is a numbered company so not sure what could be coming to this corner but it looks like a decent spot for a restaurant
