    Toronto 1061 The Queensway | 12m | 1s | Sobeys | METHOD Architects

The 80 bus doesn't go to Keele station on Sundays.

    Mayor John Tory's Toronto

I hear McConnell was bowled over at her Deputy Mayor appointment.

    Post a good floorplan!

I feel like you don't really like this unit. Do you? Do the things you like about it outweigh the things you don't?

50 at Wellesley Station (Plaza) - Real Estate -

Year round heating and air conditioning is now an amenity?

    Toronto Aquavista at Bayside | 46.94m | 13s | Tridel | Arquitectonica

Doesn't Habitat for Humanity rely a lot on volunteer trades? Costs are low when work is done for free.

New Development Fee Increases for Toronto

It's hard to complain when the good times are rolling. This current outcry is surely pre-emptive of a potential market slowdown.

    Noisy Condo Tenants

Makes me wonder if you can sue the property management company and/or board. All condos stipulate you have the right to quiet enjoyment and loud partying into the wee hours of the morning is a clear violation of that. Management isn't doing their job - is this not a breach of contract?

    Elevator Constructors strike

Looks like the drywallers have ended their strike: http://www.dcnonl.com/article/id55459/--local-675-strike-ends-after-new-agreement-ratified

    365 Church (Menkes) - Real Estate -

Funny, then why do I get emails for "hot" projects saying, "Get in NOW!" "Sellout Risk!" Let's not preach market timing when you guys really believe it's ALWAYS a good time to buy....

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Oh dear. That's just terrible. Seems amateur.

Eau du Soleil condos (Empire Communities) - Real Estate -

Hmmm.... these statements appear to be contradictory. Besides, how can the agent know who will be living there when occupancy is still years away?

    Why so many washrooms

Many 3-bedroom single family homes have only 1 bathroom in their original floorplans. Not sure why condos would be different, but perhaps this is a reflection of changing lifestyles, as people tend to add bathrooms when renovating and newer suburban homes have a higher bathroom to bedroom ratio...

    Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Stop the freak out. The 12 units are rental housing - there is no subsidy for purchasing or maintenance fees. It sounds like Tridel will own the units and rent them at below market rates. It's not much different than an investor buying a few units and renting them out for less than his/her...

    Toronto Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Do you realistically think even 50% of the remaining 588 units will be owner-occupied? That Tridel has sold over 80% of these units to people willing to wait 5 years to live in them? 12 affordable housing units will hardly be the source of damage and deterioration you're stereotyping.

952 Queen St W Renovations (Hullmark, 2s, Diamond Schmitt)

Toronto’s Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art is on the move The Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art is moving. Moving physically, and moving too – or so it hopes – into an era of greatness. But just where it’s moving, and how, remain vexing questions. Formerly known as the Art Gallery of...

    Toronto Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Interestingly, I've seen the 510 streetcar at Union Station going to Spadina Station every few days, despite this notification and signs reading "No 510 streetcars" and its removal from the next vehicle arrival sign.

Sixty Colborne (Freed Developments) - Real Estate -

Creative use of the term "walk in closet" on many of the floorplans. There should almost be a rule that states that a true walk in closet can still be walked in even after there are clothes inside. Sexy building though!

    Department Stores then and now

I think the Winners in Dufferin Mall is where Consumers Distributing used to be. The old No Frills became Toys R Us when it moved north to the old Eaton's space.

    Department Stores then and now

Woolco in Dufferin Mall became Wal-Mart. Bi-Way in Dufferin Mall became mall space (Solutions Store, then possibly something else, then Globo Shoes). Many other Bi-Ways became Dollaramas, but I can't remember if the one in Dufferin Mall did before it moved to its current location. Sears became...
