    Toronto 2453-2469 Bloor West | 47.2m | 12s | Leader Lane | BDP Quadrangle

It seems this site is no longer listed on Windmill's website, which is odd since the development team stated months ago at the community meeting that they planned to submit a development application to the city imminently.

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

Technically, this sign is only warning one pedestrian....

    Toronto Bijou on Bloor | 42.1m | 12s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

I snapped this quickly while walking by earlier today. Looks like there's finally some concrete poured into the hole. Crane soon?

    Baycrest Park Improvements

I wonder if this is intended to help divert some traffic. Currently if driving east, the only access to the schools is eastbound on Ranee and then north on Ameer/Neptune, which is a single lane in each direction and can get congested when school buses are parked for drop offs and pick ups. I...

    The Scourge of Window Film

That's a shame. Typically, I find the LCBO to be one of the "chain stores" that have better visual merchandising displays and avoid the use to window film.

    Baycrest Park Improvements

I'm not clear on why the placement of these facilities are in this order, and why they need to be relocated from their current position. There's plenty of space to put the basketball court beside the current soccer field; though possibly for ease of maintenance, they want to keep all the...

    Baycrest Park Improvements

I normally cut through this park from the north end of Yorkdale Station when visiting the neighbourhood and was surprised today to see it was all cordoned off. I came to UT to see what was going on, but couldn't find a thread, so I'm starting my own after some research. Apparently closed since...

    Toronto 2453-2469 Bloor West | 47.2m | 12s | Leader Lane | BDP Quadrangle

If this is the Bloor West Dental Office, it just abuts, but is not part of, this development. I attended the yesterday's meeting as well. Just wanted to add, in addition to @A Torontonian Now 's summary, is that the proposal is 91 residential units with 38 parking spots that are mechanically...

    Weird floor plans…

Ooof, that island. Also that bedroom closet is way too small, and storage for this unit is pretty lacking overall. Also, are there 2 back to back fancoil units in this layout? I wonder why this is necessary in such a small space, and why they're beside each other?

Condos with Full Size Kitchens & Gas

I think gas appliances also require carbon monoxide detectors and stronger exhaust hoods (those microwave combo units do nothing). Builders may not want to take on the peripheral expenses of these requirements.

    The Scourge of Window Film

https://financialpost.com/pmn/business-pmn/pot-shop-robberies-spur-push-to-end-restrictions-on-window-displays The cannabis storefront issue continues to be raised. Hopefully this signals some change.

    Toronto Bijou on Bloor | 42.1m | 12s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

This was an update from Plaza on this project sent at the beginning of March: So I think there's still more time to go before bottom.

    Swansea / Bloor West Village

Harvey's returning to Bloor West Village? That's a blast from the past!

    Toronto Windsor House Condos | 27.65m | 7s | ONE Properties | Turner Fleischer

Looks like it's 51 units now, according to this ad.

    Visible posts per page

I think I just can't find it, but in the old forum, there was an option to set the number of posts per page. Does that exist on this new forum?

    Floor Plan Review

It's funny that the builder's plan shows a TV in every room. It's a bit misleading to suggest there's actually room at the foot of those beds with those room dimensions.

    Property Management Reviews

I've heard horror stories of boards who either interfere heavily with the property management staff or are completely absent. The working relationship between a condo board and the property management company is just as, if not more, important than the property management company itself.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

You want people to lose their jobs and/or lose their purchasing power because you want to invest? Why not make it easier and wish cancer on everyone? Then you can have all the houses and all the condos!

Buying a Parking Spot with Condo a necessity?

The cost of a vehicle hasn't risen at anywhere near the same rate as the cost of owning parking. If my car is only $10K, I'd be hard pressed to pay 4X as much to park it.
