    Toronto Concorde Corporate Centre Redevelopment | 159.36m | 47s | Fengate | Core

Catching up on this having quite a bit of knowledge of the area... Not even close to 5 minute walk (that would get you to the plaza at Wynford). As others have pointed out, it is quite a trek down/uphill to the future LRT stop (10-15 mins). The best transit option in the neighborhood was/is the...

I believe the Eggsmart owner is waiting to run out the lease... they are still open. The fence was erected as they are renovating existing building for sales centre, Not sure if any legal proceedings are taking place and how long the lease had.

    Durham Region Transit / Pulse

From the recent transit meeting : DRT has reached an agreement with Nova Bus for the purchase of six twelve-metre battery electric buses with an expected delivery date for the end of 2024, as part of the e-bus pilot project. Also encouraging news at roughly 80 percent pre pandemic levels

Yay for that potential water crossing south of the Twyn Rivers parking lot. We'll be able to park at the lot and climb the big toboggan hill without the long hike around :) For those that don't know, there is a hill on the south side of Little Rouge that is great for sledding.

Toronto Rouge National Urban Park Visitor Centre | 6.99m | 1s | Parks Canada | Moriyama & Teshima

FWIW city of Pickering council recently reiterated in a recent public meeting keeping Twyn Rivers open as one of only 3 roads connecting Pickering with Toronto (the others being the 401 and Kingston Rd/Hwy 2). I also expect near the visitor centre is where the Meadoway cycling trails of both...

    Pickering 603-699 Kingston Road | ?m | 42s | Sorbara | Graziani + Corazza

I'm late to the party, but let's not forget that Kingston Rd is getting the BRT and protected cycle track and new sidewalks.

    Pickering 591 Liverpool Road | 41.4m | 12s | PHC | Teeple Architects

Agreed, more commercial is needed at the base; the whole area has so much potential...it's such a pedestrian oriented part of town. Hopefully Dwayne keeps the food truck business somewhere in the vicinity. Best fries around!

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

This is one of the better ones (a fence, and reasonably cleared path), if you followed this to Warden or took the path on the right past Finch to L'Amoreaux you'd see areas where the path almost no longer exists. I did engage councilor Kelly a while back but it didn't go anywhere. It's been a...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

The first picture above in your post is where they are adding new (cycling) paths.... Is the concrete/lack of naturalization really an issue for putting in infrastructure? North on the west branch, it appears the concrete is only near the very bottom. Regardless, I don't understand why we can't...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I'll add that this is what they put (now permanent jersey barriers are in place) on both sides of the several hundred feet bridge across petticoat creek (Pickering waterfront trail) because of pedestrian/cyclist collisions & near misses. It still seems like overkill in my view; especially...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I assume you're referring to the short bit south of the 401 to Ellesmere Rd around the industrial park? The rest (e.g. Area between Huntingwood Dr to Bridletown Circle & separate path up to L'Amoreaux Dr) already have been naturalized (already 45 down to the water with trees/grass that have...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

While I find this whole door debate entertaining, is it really an issue, and/or has anyone confirmed this is why the 1 minute rule is being implemented?

    The Meadoway, 200ha

Durham region is looking for feedback on their planned extension of the Meadoway East of the rouge that will guide its detailed design... Should anyone want to contribute. https://yourvoice.durham.ca/durham-meadoway

    Pickering Pickering Casino Resort | 51.45m | 15s | Pickering Developments | CGL Architects

Where is the 90 percent? The images certainly don't seem to point to 90 percent destroyed... Is it not the area around the wooded area (above) they are refereeing to that wasn't supposed to be tilled?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Not both (north/south) doors and also volumes at union of people running to catch train. But, to your point I think that would only apply to LE/LW?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Perhaps the 1 minute rule has to do with the conductor closing and checking doors on both sides in addition to taking in the ramp.
