Unioncity sold out fast due to investors buying it up because it's right across from York University and GO Station. It's going to be landlords owning most of it I bet.

I dont understand how Remington moves at a snail pace while Times Group is already have their next 2x blocks submissions in to be built. What is Remington's next building, where's the submission/plans? I feel Remington just doesn't put Markham Centre as a priority on their building schedules...

Entire Birchmount to Enterprise completed closed off. All emergency vehicles out and workers are out sitting on outskirts. Looks like fire broke out on north side as I saw firetruck ladder going to the 3-4th floor?

Glad to see some progress, if only we can get to the damn secondary plan sooner and get things moving. I'm happy that they know key connections are the Yorktech, Clegg and Sciberras extensions, the sooner they can get that going, the easier for people to move around. Unsure about that...

There's some movement in this area today, more cars parked, more construction vehicles pushing dirt... they might actually connect Clegg finally! But it looks like Times Group is just finishing up the two new towers and hopefully start selling and break ground on the the west side of Verdale...

Why would it be a bad idea? Markham already has Flato nearby beside Unionville High. This would be an updated and large capacity venue which I can see any shows or arts would be hosted at the new arts centre.

I dont know if Gallery Towers will be a good buy, but once its completed, Im sure it's going to be a nice marquee building in the middle of the downtown hub. These are York Condo facilities and they look pretty nice, I imagine that Gallery is going to be just as nice if not better.
