Absolutely. Having just a convenience store with a big parking pad in front so close to a subway station is a complete waste of space. I really hope something comes from this. Nice-looking project in its current iteration.

The original opening date for this project was supposed to be this last September, yet they just finished pouring the station box here. This station can't be closer than 18 months from completion.

Is the Shoppers from the Bayview main street area moving here? I'm assuming they won't keep both Shoppers on Bayview (the other one is just north of Broadway), and open this one in addition.

That's good news about Maker Pizza. I was dreading the typical "drycleaner, bank, Starbucks" line-up. It's sad how decimated Bayview retail has become in the last year or so. Rents have gone ballistic, apparently.

I live a couple of blocks from this development. I'm not sure why a new elementary school has not been made a part of this or neighbouring new developments. Local schools are maxed out. I don't have an issue with the development, because this land needs densification, but there's definitely some...

I'm confused, there's been construction going on in this section of the 401 for a while now, why is the newsrelease saying "construction begins"? Some sections look almost finished in concrete.

Up close, the materials aren't impressive. From a distance, the fins blend into the rest of the cladding. Therefore, this building should only be viewed from mid-distance, preferable at sunrise or sunset.

I use GoogleMaps on my Android Auto regularly, but always back-check with reality. If something doesn't make sense, I rely on my intuition. It has saved my ass many times. It tends to pick the easiest route, even through heavy traffic, and sometimes one-way streets are not programmed correctly...

It's a shame that we'll have to stare at corporate logos every time we use publicly funded transportation in return for a what is essentially a drop in the bucket as far as ML's costs go.

This is looking promising. Cresford has a come a long way in the last 10 years. They were pretty disliked here in the early days, if I remember correctly.
