Not surprised the workers were sent home. It was like a 110 Farenheit yesterday. My heat pumps were going steady just to keep the place at 75 Farenheit. Finally decided to escape to the cottage yesterday. Luckily it's only about 65 miles away. It's air conditioned and cools down quickly...

If this pic didnt load then I am sorry. One of these days I will figure it out. If it did..Hurrah! LOL This is the west side of mechanical podium for the Sony Centre. The design patern is supposed to eventually integrate with the L Tower. Not quite the wild and crazy intricate mosaic that was...

Yup. Figure there has to be some kind of process in place or otherwise we would have glassy eyed giggling idiots with chainsaws scurrying around all over the place. The old sceptisism is still there though. How much investigative 'show us how you have explored every other possible option'...

I see from the report that once again the street trees are sacrificed. Those trees make that part of Scott absolutely lovely. It's a damn shame...and they are not Honey Locusts. They're Shademaster Locusts. (though I have been known to be wrong on extreme rare occasions) It was awful to see the...

Very nice. Sadly, it's a little early in the game to get too excited. Wait for the final results after a couple of the NIMBY gong shows are behind us. Got my fingers crossed that this design holds up though the upcoming neighborhood idiot reviews.

Something you don't see everyday. They just slapped the mechanical section on top of the podium. This project was shaping up into something very attractive,..up till now. Ouch.

I imagine this is or at least is going to be quite a rude surprise for the south facing residents of 7 King East. I imagine that is about the last thing they would have expected to pop up and block their sunlight. When you sell your condo to someone, do you have to declare knowledge of...

I didn't pay. Something smells here. I change the filters on my units spring and fall. That's it. Really. Think about this for a moment. What else do you think you are REALLY going to get done to your one year old unit. I Plan to continue changing my filters twice a year for many years...

Lots of smart design showing up here. Street level, podium level in tune to surrounding architecture and finally the twin staggered towers all having a different finish to emphasize those levels and still keeping a cohesive overall feel. The recessed balconies are are a gutsy, brilliant...

Thanks a lot guys! A little more practice on my part and I should have some interesting pics to show you all once the tower starts peeking up from the stage podium.

Wondering about that pump. I have never seen one quite like this one. In fact it appears to be shiny brand spankin new. Anyone familiar with this particular one? What is it's floor height capability? By the way. Great shots Pot Pie! Please keep them coming in the weeks to come.
