This is obviously a subjective opinion - but that park is terrible. Who wants to bring a child to play beside a major highway?!? Why it wasn't just made into a dog park on the northern end and grassy space on the southern end is beyond me. Cheaper, simple, effective.

They're hanging small plexiglass sheets to the wires today; it looks like it may be a kinetic installation. Seems like a nice touch.

Drilling work taking place on Berkeley between King and Front today. It’s exciting to see movement happening on this project!

Not that it's great to hear about a business going bankrupt, but there is an over-saturation of home design shops along that stretch of King East. I'm now hoping that a bar/restaurant opens up in its place. I always thought their front entrance area would make for an awesome patio!

Took my dog to the park yesterday and there’s no water station in the dog enclosure. Seems like a poor choice not to include this in their design. Also, there’s no shelter structure at top of hill/pathway, nor is there a stairwell from top area to the west side near playground, as their designs...

They build subway lines all the time in cities like Hong Kong and Shanghai. These places are so densely packed with highrises, yet they still manage to get built. I don't see how tunnelling under condos on the western side of the OL is overly problematic.

I also live right beside this monstrosity and walk past at least twice a day. I hate the design, I think it's an awful building for the area, but can't say I've ever noticed a smell.
