    Toronto 50 Bloor Street West | 230.11m | 70s | Morguard Corporation | Pellow + Associates

I believe this building is part of the master plan, is it not? I thought it was the whole block.

This level of renovation doesn't happen if they are planning to tear it down any time soon. This should provide some insight into the master plan they are working on. http://torontolife.com/style/inside-holt-renfrews-sparkly-new-office-space-bloor/

    King West

Moratorium on demolition for King West. What exactly are the implications for existing proposals? https://www.thestar.com/news/city_hall/2016/12/15/council-freezes-demolition-on-303-buildings-in-downtown-toronto.html

Britannia Farm & Development Parcels (Peel School Board, various)

Vague is an understatement. I have no idea what is being proposed here. Trails to and from where? And why? And what is a "field centre"? Terms like "experiential learning" also set off red flags. My BS detector is going off big time.

They're always driving across the border and stealing our sushitos.

    Toronto King-Bathurst Transit Oriented Community: South Site | 88.9m | 25s | Infrastructure ON | SvN

Not only does blogTO steal content, but they often get the information wrong anyway. Being lazy with their plagiarism is their real trademark.

    Pickering Pickering GO Pedestrian Bridge | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | AECOM

It might be just a perspective issue, but does anyone else think those freight cars are disturbingly close to the bridge as they pass under it?

    Toronto Broadview Hotel | 28.65m | 7s | Streetcar | ERA Architects

Is there any chance that the houses on the east side of Broadview get redeveloped into something with street-facing retail, and the street itself becoming more pedestrian-friendly? We could use a proper connection between Queen East and the proposed office district.

Toronto St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

I suspect that they are demonstrating it for potential buyers. Proving that it works and such.

    Pickering Pickering GO Pedestrian Bridge | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | AECOM

This pisses me off. If this had happened in the private sector that contractor would not have had it so easy. But it's only tax dollars, so why not?

    Toronto 411 Church | 121.91m | 38s | CentreCourt | IBI Group

Wow. Reading this makes it clear why we need the OMB. Not only was the planning department incompetent, but it was also dishonest. People should be fired for this.

    Vaughan KPMG Vaughan | ?m | 14s | SmartCentres | Diamond Schmitt

I had the same thought. I suspect that the subway will provide a market for the condo towers as people who live there can commute to downtown. The office employees will probably drive to work.

Toronto Blue Diamond Condos and Foxbar Towns at Imperial Village | 88.08m | 28s | Camrost-Felcorp | Diamond Schmitt

It shouldn't be modified at all. It's a beautiful old church that should be maintained and used for something, religious or otherwise. This is one of the few redevelopments that really bothers me.

    Vaughan KPMG Vaughan | ?m | 14s | SmartCentres | Diamond Schmitt

If VMC is successful, is there room for it to expand beyond its planned borders? Also, the City has a target of 1.5 million sf of office space; would more be allowed?

    Toronto 422 Wellington West | 14.33m | 2s | Allied | ERA Architects

Perhaps that's why he has been successful in doing those projects. Some of the most accomplished people in history got there due to their lack of compromise.

    Vaughan 7Central | 175.4m | 55s | Graywood | Arcadis

Vaughan Centre was never going to look like the renderings that the City published. I have high hopes for this area, but the market is the key factor that decides what, if anything, we get here.

Toronto St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

Perhaps that they are looking to establish themselves in the city. Meaning, buying two properties in quick succession might not be a coincidence.

Toronto Yonge Sheppard Centre Renovations and Expansion | 123.13m | 35s | RioCan | BDP Quadrangle

This isn't the 1980s. If I like a Korean or Pakistani restaurant, I don't need it to be in some cool ethnic neighborhood. I just want lunch. Let the market decide where retail goes.
