    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I understand it's a big ask, but this is the future of our city! And the last developable parcel of land right near the heart of downtown. I have already voiced these opinions at meetings/feedback sessions. It shouldn't intrinsically be this...boring. I did see something about flexible...

Downtown Decline - Future of Toronto's Downtown Core

This is probably a really radical and unrealistic pipe dream, but when the Berlin wall fell down, artists from all over reinhabited vacant spaces with very cheap studio spaces. That made it the cultural hub it is today, because collectors, buyers, and a variety of business was generated because...

I agree with Alex, and great article. The only thing is, as people who really want to see this project reach its fullest potential, simply writing about may not do much in terms of advocacy...maybe it needs to be directed to someone? This is a very broad question to everyone on this thread...

I have flagged this to a board member on WT that I know through a friend. I really also want to see more walkability and think we can do better on this front. Downsview shows us what’s possible. Great article!

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Hey man, just curious. What was offensive about that? I have always heard around the joke that Brampton feels a bit lawless to some degree (although I acknowledge that is an exaggeration). Have you tried driving there? It can be intense.

I have a couple friends doing artsy stuff for these lands and they said it is nothing short of amazing and is being run well. Lots to be excited for! I love how the call has been opened up to international artists, which is kind of rare for Toronto because we tend to be overly concerned with...

Yeah I agree with you. I’m quite radical/imaginative when it comes to politics and culture I don’t identify with the conservative straight-laced Torontonian that is too scared of stepping on others toes and being rigid with new ideas or change. I try so hard to break out of that. I do...

I’m definitely holding my breath as to not be dissapointed. Plus I am skeptical of truly how red the clad will look in final build. CG tower in Vaughan is an example of how that worked out….

OMG it’s been my dream for yonge and eg to have some red clad/warmer toned architecture for once. Jheeez this made my day. I loveee it. Great aesthetics for this dense node.

Yeah I agree, I feel like cursing. This makes ZERO sense. Everyone coming to these meetings for the most part have been asking why density isn't being increased.

I feel like I've seen this orangy-red palette in London (uk), thus I like it.
