I completely agree with you 100% I’ve been passing by recently and the seem to have been stalled at level 32 for quite sometime and not much progress has been made. Combined with someone mentioning balcony glass being installed before window wall glass tells me there are definitely supply chain...

The last letter I received in summer 2019 was for occupancy in July 2020. What floor are you on @starrynight?

So after speaking with my interior designer at the studio, she did indicate that bedroom had rough-ins; Den’s unfortunately do not. So if I wanted a rough in for my den I would have to pay $2k/box. That’s even more of a tougher pill to swallow then when I thought it was $2k for 2 junctions...

I understand that it was in the renderings but what i'm trying to say is, if great gulf was really gonna put in reality, they should have thrown in the dotted lines to show alternating patterns like they did in this Great Gulf "Home Condo" floor plan. but if you go look at the FP's of Y&R, you...

I don't think the dev ever had any intention of doing that. in the floor plans, there was no mentioning of elongated balconies on alternating floors.

I know right. I finally got my email to customize the unit. Would like to get your thoughts on what are considered "Must" upgrades that had to re-sale value and upgrades that are considered "Get someone else to do for it for less" I know blinds are something that Im going to source later...

The 17 units look like they lost a lot more than 6 feet. But yes i feel you. I lost some space too i'm in the 10 unit and noticed I lost my bedroom balcony door. ???

I’m not loving this frosted balcony glass. Was hoping for just plain transparent see through glass. I feel like this will make the balcony smaller and will allow less light to pass through.

Agreed let's hold our judgement until it's done. I know with PJ condos, they applied a brick overly on top of the concrete for the facade so maybe it will be the same here too...

I don't blame GG for cheapening out. This project was sold in 2013, with the developer budgeting and expected the cost of 2015-2018 dollars. But now they are incurring costs in 2017-2019 So given the rise in cost, I don't doubt they are cutting corners to try to minimize losses at this point.

It's about time, the email from great gulf dated may 27 said construction was going to start this summer, it's already behind schedule. Not to mention what's a little disappointing is that this project started selling 1 year before YC Condos, and broke ground after YC condos. as a buyer this...
