    Hourly to Kitchener+London, Hamilton/Niagara and Bowmanville will need diesel... then peak to millton and Bloomington.

    On my training runs to North bay meets it was usually timed so that the northbound met the southbound at Brechin Siding... on the Bala sub the signal masts are still there but turned and off now.. there is also a switcher at Huntsville but it's a small multitrack yard there

    Yes but macyard is rule 105 territory, plus freight and remote control locomotives would probably get priority

    Internally we've referred to it as Newmarket North for the CN owned section between washago and North bay... and Newmarket South for the Metrolinx owned part between mile 3.0 Parkdale and Barrie...

    It would be nice if the Newmarket Sub still had the section between Barrie and Washago... would probably save a little time of freight traffic too since usually VIA has to move over for the hottest intermodals...

    I've never been a big fan of the sunshine list since it doesn't really list how many hours they worked. Yeah people get outraged when a nurse or ttc bus driver makes 100k a year but if they saw how much overtime they did...
