    Toronto Celebration Condominiums at Bridlewood | ?m | 11s | Malibu Investments | P + S / IBI

You are correct about them owning Bridlewood Mall.I found out from a friend who is a manager at one of the stores.Apparently,a lady named Jennifer Kwan (first name may be different spelling)owns the whole Mall and project to come. Still,we wait and wait for better stores to come soon. The only...

Where did you see that Kwan&Kwan bought the mall. I saw a change on wikipedia said it was Avison Young that owned and managed it now.It also said they built it in 1973.That can't be right as A/Y was not even formed then, and the mall was built in 1976. A/Y was formed in 1978. I know we can't...

Not yet.Everything seems to be hush hush with everything related to the mall because of the new mall owners takeover.September is supposed to be the official takeover. Have you contacted or visited the office in the mall across from the Library?Do they just keep giving a new date for...

No.I tried that early Spring, and was told by April, construction would start.Everything is hush hush in that Mall and the rumourmill is rolling along, now that the Mall is sold.(deal closes in the Fall). That sales office will only tell us what they want us to know,so as their sales won't be affected.

I guess the new buyers of the Mall have bought the Mall only.Malibu still is trying to sell more units,as the the Sales office is still open. Then we have the Target Store issue. It wants to extend the store into the south parking lot. And,I don't think they want a hi-rise condo at the corner of...

Who knows now.Bridlewood Mall has just been sold, apparently to a Korean firm. If the new owners want to change the Condo project in any way, refunds will have to be made to purchasers of units that won't be built. http://www.globes.co.il/serveen/globes/docview.asp?did=1000853102&fid=1725

    Ellesmere Road, 1952-2009

Warden Ellesmere news clips 1960-1962 Thanks so much for this info.I always thought this would be part of Metro Toronto's responsibility because it was such a huge project. What thread of Urban Toronto did you find these in? A lady responded to me from Toronto Archives and she found nothing...

    Ellesmere Road, 1952-2009

Correction of date CPR overpass was built at Warden/Ellesmere I went to Home Depot today and and passing under the bridge,I noticed the date in the concrete was 1962,not 1968.I must confused the date with the CNR bridge at Finch Ave.E. just west of Leslie St.which was marked 1968.I use Finch...

Anna says:<I can't read what you have written about the road (Canadian?) south of the railway tracks - what does it say?> It is the old spur line that branched off the main line.It crossed Warden Ave.,then went south between Warden and Birchmount, crossed Lawrence Ave.e. then served the...

    Ellesmere Road, 1952-2009

I am wondering if anyone has photos of the Warden-Ellesmere intersection under construction around 1966-1968.This is the dual CPR overpass bridges that corrected a terrible traffic problem when trains came to cross the intersection. This must have been voted the worst intersection in Metro...
