Those are some really beautiful render styles. Which we could see more in this style (less lens flare, overexposure and omission of neighboring structures).

Given there's no PATH connections within 2-3 blocks of St. Patrick I'd say odds are about 0. At most I could see it maybe connecting to the Hospital network to the north but I haven't read any plans of that...

I actually kind of like that it's much shorter than everything else. Frames the whole arena rather nicely (especially once the second phase of CIBC Square is build, Union Park, etc.).

From the looks on the Project Core instagram they're also doing a lot of structural work on the inside, so that adds up.

Gehry is considered, amongst many, one of the better architects of the 21st century. His designs are polarizing for being whimsical and slightly against the norm from how many would normally envision a "building". His AGO renovation in Toronto, not far from his home neighbourhood of Kensington...

The building in the photo above is staying, hence the extensive renovations. Since the building was changed from 3 to 2 buildings the only properties being demolished are on either side of Ed Mirvish Way which are two buildings that normally would have been a shame to lose if not for the fact...

8 more floors of core with two upcoming set backs. Suspect the core jumps will slow down around that point but the steel and glass are cruising.

That sharp angle with all the fins is quite striking. Somewhat makes up for the wall of spandrel head on.

It's nice to have another architecture firm in the city really taking design seriously too.
