It astounds me that the west portion of the site is now finally being covered with the lowest basement floor while the tower is now over 10 stories. The site is monstrous. Such a joy to watch this one unfold!

So the two arguments I see are: "This building is allowed to be boring it's infill." and, "We shouldn't consider every build infill". So we can all agree that this is a boring, uninspired proposal then, yes?

South side will get the most light too, so it shouldn't appear too dark. I rather like the framing of the darker side with the bricks around it (that said I'm one of the few that likes the north side of Massey Tower so I'm sure I'll be told why I'm wrong below ?).

Interested to see how these actually look when they meet. I presume the balconies will do a good job covering up most of it, should it end up a little awkward.

This is rather uninspired. Hodge-podge of a podium, generic frosted balconies and mullions all over. The only nice detail is the use of wood under what I assume is the amenities level. Also, for being across from a Snøhetta build, I'd hardly consider this corner worthy of "infill". Would be...

You're aware the entirety of the below grade was pretty much complete prior to starting on the tower, right? Probably not - so there's your answer.

That kinda reads like a weird stanza of beat poetry. No snaps from me, however.

Probably G+C's tidiest project so far. Think that comes down to not relying entirely on glass/spandrel rather bringing some more opaque and solid materials into the build.

Minor change but major impact for that part of the stadium.

Lot's changed on the east and south ends of the project so tough to highlight but the formwork coming down as well as the southern crane slowly being lowered is certainly an achievement. Have to make the timeline half size now for the sake of your browsers.

The details in the columns/ceilings are actually quite nice. Not sure how much of that will show when they finish the interiors but there's some great angles and "thinning" visual effects going on.

Not here to make that decision but always willing to educate. We'll see if it sticks ;)
