Hmm. Didn’t see this coming. I live very close by. Residents of that building will not be happy. That “park” is definitely unrealistic. The tower it self is very attractive though.
The transparent balconies are not my favourite. But I appreciate the east and west facades having some “frame patterning” at least it offers some visual texture.
This is looking great. And honestly that pastel mint blue is kind of nice. It will pop on a gloomy day I bet. The cladding is really nice and has almost a deco feel.
Is it perhaps that same thought process from architects working in Toronto that results in a lack of grandeur compared to other cities?
Functionality could still offer bolder statement. Especially in high profile locations such as this one.
