Second tower crane goes up..

2nd tower crane to be erected Sat, Aug 23, 2008 The city has just served notice that Charles Street East, between Church and Jarvis, will be closed this Saturday for a tower crane to be erected at 590 Jarvis.

It looks like the base for a second crane at the middle on the right hand side (west). I don't recall much steel going into the base though, so it's a bit puzzling. I guess we'll find out shortly.

It's sounds like a replay of the old refrain that the TTC is digging up my street and I'm unhappy so I'll pretend that I didn't see the notices from months ago.

On Fri, Sat, and Sun.. plus holidays. Before 12pm, all shows are $6.00. I do find it weird though that the AMC doesn't offer a matinee price during the rest of the week. Thanks!
