Indeed a long standing problem, however With all of the bravado and promises the Ford circus has made, they have done nothing despite the growing need during the last 4 yrs. They have actively ignored the dire situation at the for profit LTC homes because of cronyism. Treatment of the elderly...

Frank discussions with the CONS is only possible if you contribute to their coffers. This law is beyond human dignity, shipping people like cattle against their will to unknown locations against their will. Have we heard of this before?

AND the ministry is controlled by whomever "governs" in this province, so I have little confidence the Ford Government will care about labour standards. They are well known for lowering standards right across health and safety and shut their eyes to anything that would benefit their wealthy...

Agreed, unions should have no input where the facilities should be build, however it should have say in how the workers at those facilities are treated and employment standards are met with regulations. So with -zero- involvement as you are suggesting it would be operating a a non union facility.

I paid $300 for a lawyer to come to the hospital to have papers signed. His practice was 500 meter from the hospital. Business completed in less than 5 mins. I know my daughter in law charges between 350 to 500 an hr. for civil and criminal cases. Sadly good legal representation is far...

Ummm.... yeah the last time I was absent it involved my son and husband dying within three months of each other - yes running back and forth to cancer units, radiation takes precedence, however that was two years ago. Been a little busy these days, which again involves health issues, now caring...

Many years ago, I spoke with Mike and asked him if he was willing to throw his hat into the mayoral race (Rob ford) was mayor at the time, he candidly said: “Not yet, I have still much to learn”. I was really hoping he would at some time.

Ummm Yeah... a budget to vote for, Look at all those goodies "we" seniors are going to get. Yeah NO, it ain't happening, most of them goodies will never come to fruition. Increase in medical deductions smells more like privatized medical services. Once re-elected the grifting will continue...

Yup... what she says, plus I no longer have a car, thus not getting a sticker refund nor do I make use of the toll highways. Buying votes, the grand scale legit way after he got caught handing out $20 bills at the Ontario Housing building.

Agreed, child care needs further improvement. Ontario is the last province to sign on, and failed to negotiate a better deal for more funding, however they did get assurance and signed document that funds would increase the sixth year, as do other provinces. Much to do about nothing, as any...

Rundown barns are a sign of times, I am very familiar with the Caledon region as my late son lived in Inglewood. A lot of farms in that area are divided and are now small hobby farms and barns are left to decay. Most farms in the York region have been sold to developers without foresight from...

Maybe, Dias has never been one to play by the rules. He was also involved in the hostile take over with local ATU that represented the TTC. Diaz was in cahoots with Bob Kinnear president of local 113 ATU. Loads of shady business…

If correct, we now know how Fraud nation plans to finance that 1 plus billion dollars licence plate shortfall. Up next: more promises, after all there is still plenty billions left.

TBH I don’t care what party you vote for, but rest assured, mine won’t go to the Conservatives, provincial or federal.

He’s without any doubt in my mind, told by Head quarters to dummy up and pretend all is well. They are making him the sacrificial pig or lamb. In the meantime he’s hiding in his late mom’s basement baking cheesecakes for Valentines.

So how are they going to make up the revenue? Any suggestions or questions? Private health insurance and for profit medicine might be my number one guess.

Naw… it’s the Cons Ipperwash. People in Ottawa are like Toronto, p*sing mad. And it is clearly back firing onto the conservatives.
