They currently have a permit to complete below-grade work and the expectation is that the aboveground permit will be issued before that's complete (last I heard). Not sure the exact day they resumed work as there was a trickle of workers on the site but within the last two weeks.

Yeah, luckily these will look pretty similar going up past the podium area. I say luckily because it makes working on the diagram like 50x easier (that said I'm always making improvements).

The beauty of steel. Will be an interesting lattice work in the lower floors to help transfer all that weight.

Interesting to see the more "aesthetic" steel go up for the crown. Gives a pretty good indication that the glass will be quite see through!

I believe they're standing on the formwork that would put them one below grade (an important note is that the floors are slightly different heights as the tower's first floor uses a false floor - presumably for Apple's expansive networking (that usually is in the ceiling for single story stores).
