This project looks very similar to the One Congress at Bulfinch Crossing project in Boston, also designed by Pelli

I didn't mean to reply to you, I wasn't even aware of your post when I wrote about my thought and I didn't quote you or anything. Anyway, maybe it wasn't expressed well so my apology for that.
From the rendering, it looks like the height of the tallest office tower would be in the range of 280 - 300m. Definitely very massive, but I was kinda dreamed for a next level supertall (like 400m) here :p
Think about when CIBC Square, The One, 160 Front (eventually blocked by Union Square), Mirvish+Gehry, The Hub, 1 Yonge (Second Phase) all complete, our skyline from the Toronto Islands would be so striking! Can't wait!
I know it's pretty unrealistic but I really want a moderate (150m - 200m) office tower AND a very slim residential supertall (300m+) to complement the CN Tower
From the wordings of the postcard, my understanding is that they are only redeveloping 325 Front Street W, which is a significant scale down that does not include the Metro Convention Centre to its west?
Is the MTCC no longer a part of Union Park development? umm...
wait I just realized that this building does not have a podium with tower setback to mitigate the wind coming straight down from the tower... no... not another four-season...
LOL, this building gets a pass? What a beautiful design and I believe OMB must think it fits our downtown great! Btw right next to 19 Duncan and Mirvish + Gehry, must be a great, close view for the ppl living in those future buildings.
Seriously, I think this building stands out in a very...
I was in Manhattan yesterday checking out their new Hudson Yards complex. It was amazing in all spectrums. Really hope the Well turns out to be something unique for Toronto. It doesn't have the scale like Hudson's Yards but it would certainly be massive for the downtown.
Can't agree more, I feel like the urban level density only exist between Spadina to the west and Church to the east. The South-North corridor is much better as you can walk from Queen's Quay all the way to Davenport and still feel like you are in the city center. But it only takes 15 mins if you...
I would be shocked if this project gets a green light, especially with the current greenish suburb condo design. Just my own opinion but this condo looks ugly AF
Just saw this, does this have any implication for the project?
