Can I ask, approximately how long it took for you from taking occupancy to having the building registered? I have an occupancy date of late August for a suite I purchased in Tower 3, and am just curious.

As a fellow purchaser of a suite in tower 3, I think we're just interested bystanders to the current lawsuit. But if the buyers of phase 1 do win, based on this Competition Act, doesn't this imply that, it's equally valid for all the purchasers of phase 2 and 3?

It would be nice, if we could get someone with some legal background to comment and give their opinions. Not necessarily the lawyers involved with the lawsuit itself, but just someone who can actually comment on this with some level of expertise or authority.

You guys certainly have my support as well, though I'm not part of Phase 1, for whatever that's worth. I'm in Phase 3. But I'm definitely interested in knowing what happens with this. So, please do keep us up-to-date on what happens!

The price list is no more of a legal contract than any other marketing/advertising material, I think. I think what we need is a better understanding of what laws govern what is allowable in an advertisement. How much discretion is any builder allowed to stray away with from what they advertise?

So does that mean the calculation of your phantom rent does NOT take the 25K into account? If I recall correctly, that number is partially based on your final purchase price minus whatever deposits you've paid.

The cynic in me is worried that, because they are rushing to meet these early dates, that there will be all sorts of construction shortcuts that will be taken. Perhaps I'm just feeling negative from reading all about the issues that the Tower 1 people have seen so far.

I'm in tower 3, and got a letter for Aug 25th as my tentative occupancy date! Reading through all the issues that all the Tower 1 people have been going through so far .... I'm actually wondering if I should be worried or not about my elevators, PDIs and who knows what else.
