You can see some of the "framing" for what will be the suspended elevator core with the orange spray paint. I suspect the next few pours will be pretty interesting!

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

11m difference but close enough. It'll be pretty much identical to Sugar Wharf Tower E (which is a ways behind).

Considering the size this has moved at a good clip!

We've got two just sitting idle at the Foster & Partners project here in SF.

Ah, you're talking about the core in the back. That makes more sense...not really a podium but I'll see if I can make some updates. Will be covered in the diagram once it's clad so may not be relevant.

There’s about a 3 floor difference between the main tower and podium so likely just an illusion of sorts. You may also be seeing the building immediately south as part of the podium as they sort of line up in that one photo.

So sad. His amazing photos were such a joy to go through.

I'm drawing right on top of the actual plans so I don't think I can get any more accurate than this.

Did we have any indication of who the tenant(s) was/were going to be?

Usually they're incorporated into the ground floor. PJ Condos and The One are great examples.

It's a good point. I usually find the smaller plots have less staging area so things run a little slower but steel builds are their own thing.

Floorplans would suggest these will be filled in but things change so who knows!

Not sure why a smaller site with the same sized building would ever make it faster. If the building was smaller...sure but it's effectively the same footprint on a much more congested site. This will definitely take a little longer to take off.

This one will definitely take longer to get going. The huge site on Phase 1 helped things speed along at a blistering pace.

Based on most Apple flagships (and I can speak with some authority having worked there for many years), there is usually a business "boardroom" which I could see being put in the heritage structure. In terms of interiors, let's make it pretty clear - no one knows what's going in there as...

Toronto Ontario Court of Justice Toronto | 95.7m | 17s | Infrastructure ON | Renzo Piano

Clean and tidy with meticulous details is quintessential Renzo Piano. Glad Toronto finally has one of his creations.

I'm assuming they'll fill in those corners somehow as the floorplans and renders don't seem to suggest any sort of indent like that... Source
