    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

If one has a destination to a condo garage on King Street, they'll still have access. Not for through automobile, SUV, or private pickup truck traffic. If you work or shop, you can use public transit, cycle, or (oh the horrors) walk.

Missing curb cuts (database + strategies)

In Toronto, sidewalks are cleared of snow LAST. The expressways get first dibs at 2 cm of snow. Snow windrows at street corners, transit stops, and crosswalks are only done after the single-occupant automobile get their way. In Sweden, highways are LAST. From link, dated 2018.

Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

Took them long enough. See from December, 2009 at Steve Munro's website at this link. A LOT more expensive to do it starting today, because of inflation and other costs like elevators, which weren't a requirement back in 1987..

    TTC: Streetcar Network

2010 was when anti-streetcar Mayor Rob Ford got into power, along with his brother Councillor Doug Ford. Expansion of streetcars were not in their cards. Mayor John Tory was more interested in saving money than about improving public transit in general. Too early with Mayor Olivia Chow, but...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

With buses replacing the streetcars along 512 ST. CLAIR and buses along 189 STOCKYARDS, seems to be a good year to "test" out running the buses from ST. CLAIR STATION out to Jane Street, Dundas Street West, Scarlett Road, and St. Clair Avenue West. A year-long test of service along the entire...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

Toronto's Transportation Services refuses to implement REAL proper transit priority at intersections. Transportation Services refuses to put up traffic signals for streetcars and buses at the subway station, so they could enter the roadway. The politicians refuse to fund the TTC properly to...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

No surprise. Public transit remains a low priority for the city. Left over from 13 years of Ford/Tory stewardship.

Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

The Science Centre Station entrance (southwest corner at Don Mills & Eglinton) to the actual Ontario Science Centre entrance is about 507m. The Dundas West Station entrance to Roncesvalles Avenue & Dundas Street West is about 375m. Why is the Line 5's Science Centre Station named as it will be...

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

In Saskatchewan, all people are equal, except that some people are more equal than others... This Canadian province wants to pick immigrants based on their nation. Is that fair, or a ‘slippery slope’? From link.
