Photo taken last week - Not sure what is going on with the ceiling. Also, over the past few weeks approximately half of the smaller, independent shops have either put up a "Closing Sale" sign or have announced they will be relocating by this September. A couple have already closed.

Interior gutting of the Mono Lino building has started last week, from what I could see through the open windows (cables hanging from the ceiling, mostly, and a yellow warning sign on the front door).

Don't know how long they've been here for, but this morning I spotted 2 GFL Environmental pick up trucks and 1 excavator on site.

The former auto dealership was 95% demolished as of 8.30am this morning. I couldn't take a picture because I was on the bus, but crews were busy taking down the remainder of the building.

The interior was being gutted when I passed by on the bus this morning. Also, a bunch of new documents were uploaded on December 11 on the Development Application page for this project - including updated crash wall report, derailment protection plan, architectural plans, geothecnical study...

Balzac's will be opening on December 8! The interior is pretty neat. There seems to be a second retail until available. Photos taken yesterday:
