    Harry Stinson is not dead

My parents friends I mentioned above have there closing mid July. Not sure if there are other units that are closing sooner or if it was delayed again. I am actually going to Hamilton on Sunday and may try to find this place to see if its actually being built well.

    Square One Shopping Centre

I'm at mall for lunch, they put in some new flooring down the sears hallway, has a much nicer look than the old stuff. A bit more high end tile vs the old generic ceramic/carpet. I'm a little surprised by how many stores are vacating/closed, should be interesting once all complete.

    Harry Stinson is not dead

My parents old neighbour bought one at Stinson school in 2009 (I think), I believe it will be finished something like 15 months late, not sure on valuation changes, but they paid something like $150K or something in that area for a classroom. They were one of the first 5-10 people to buy into...

    Square One Shopping Centre

I was in the mall last night and it was packed. There was a sign up saying brouge was closing down, which is a low end men's clothing store. Used to grab some cheap stuff there while I was still in School.

    Square One Shopping Centre

The guy I met said they were looking at a complete redo of the food court, but that is all prelim, but its more just talking than anything else. There are 2 new condo towers that just finished off, 2 more on Confederation and one on Burhanthorpe 2 mins down road so you will have a small influx...

    Square One Shopping Centre

What was the original design of the expansion? The area is always dead, I walk into that part of the mall (I am in condo just to the west of it), its just a walk through no real reason to stop. Plus there is no real entrance way to parking lot, you have the small one with the escalators going...

Tims is looking for a second location, upper level. There will be a 2nd Starbucks (in Target) according to him, so guess that makes sense they are trying to compete with the Mcdonalds in Walmart now another Starbucks. They have offered less than the asking for the Jonny Rockets spot, but that...

    Toronto Wallace Walk Towns | ?m | 4s | The Somerset Group | KFA

I went in over the weekend to chat with them, I own a unit across the street in "brownstones on wallace" as an investment and wanted to get info/prices. The biggest issue I had was they are back to back, so windows are only on one side of property, my Wallace property has front/back windows. A...

They had a second location in the food court a few years ago didn't they? Anyway I added the guy to linkedin, and going to contact him re a co-op job at the company for my brother this summer, if people want me to ask him any questions regarding the mall or something let me know. Keep in mind...

    Square One Shopping Centre

I met someone at a UFC party this weekend who works for Oxford, deals with leasing. Nothing major but he said there were two formal business plans submitted For the old Johnny rockets location. 1 -Tim hortons- apparently they want to pay less than what they are asking by a "significant"...
