with the finch west lrt I feel that most of the development will occur around in emery village (8 condos are proposed so far) and the mount olive area (1 condo and 2 apartments buildings have been proposed so far). both areas are too far from woodbine centre to make an impact in my opinion...

Once the mall closes; I kind of want mid-rise residential to be built on the woodbine site. I don't think retail will ever return to woodbine due to the 'casino woodbine development', which will include its own retail area. I feel most big box stores will most likely open up at the new plaza...

from what info I could find. the restaurant was built by the mall's previous owners. the previous owners wanted to build condos, a restaurant and concert area but that obviously didn't happen., when the mall was sold all of those plans were stopped. only the restaurant was finished when the mall...
