I walked by the site yesterday and am really interested in seeing the finished look of the base of the tower. The size and massing are very dramatic when standing right in front of it. I remember seeing a member criticize the base as being "dated" but I think it's going to turn out spectacular...

I gotta say this building is turning out to be pretty spectacular! The quality of the materials, plus the mixture of textures, finishes and colors is really well done.

I'll bet money that it will not only go all the way up the tower but also be synchronized with the lantern ;)

The CN Tower is Toronto's icon, and the installation of the LED lighting brought it into the 21st Century and made it more dynamic than New York's Emprie State Building. I feel like the ROM, and I know it's been said before, suffered from poor materials. Even the black framing on the windows...

The height is very impressive for its surroundings. I can't wait to see it in person in a few weeks. I'll have an update of my own for the forum ;)
