I just don't think it's a pond is all. I'm glad there is interaction for people who might consider being in the actual lake intimidating or unsafe with all of the large boats.

This was know for over a year now that the name would change in early summer. I bet it was within that year the sign was made, there is no point making a sign 3 years in advance for a construction project. Especially in a city like Toronto which changes constantly.

I was keen on the idea brought forward years ago with a massive indoor water park. Lazy river, wave pools, zany water slides.... maybe a fake beach. Surround it with shops, hotels and some condos and possibly expand the current park a bit. Add that to the already existing convention centre...
