Only in Toronto would authorities even consider building what is effectively a new transit line without connecting it to an existing intersecting subway route. It's like they want transit to fail.

Perhaps this point has been made before, but looking at the official TTC streetcar map today, it occurred to me that it is actually a fantasy map. Due to various construction projects, it currently bears very little resemblance to actual service.
