An assortment but I can confirm that the waterfront promenade on the west edge of South Promintory Park is finished though can’t be seen.

From what I can tell, we’ve got at least 4 swans and two different nesting locations.

Love that whole asphalt business for us.

Also, so far I’ve seen ducks, swans, cormorant, sparrows, robins, long tailed duck, sparrows, and this week the killdeer. Anything other folks are seeing that I haven’t? Haven’t noticed any predator

Years back I was walking on commissioners (pre construction), when I turned and was eye to gruesome talon with a turkey vulture sat on a fence. Unsure what conditions brought him about, but I was about three feet away from it, and it was the nastiest thing I’d been that close to.

Wonder what we’re doing with cormorant to make sure they don’t ruin stuff in Biidaasige. I think all the tinsel is gone from last year meant to keep new seed from getting gobbled up. So I wonder if that means they’re happy with the growth, or have given up.

I’m also waiting to see if we don’t get more cygnets this year, or if conservation starts oiling the swan eggs again.

Pigeon Apocalypse in our Parkettes
Getting Goosed in Hogtown
There Are No Canaries in The Canary District
Tweeting in Toronto

And so on...
