Mandy's is opened but just for delivery atm. I was talking to someone out front prepping their sign....

It's also maybe 100 meters from the distillery and it's attached to Corktown. It's not like there won't be people around.

I pray we lose those dealerships sooner than later. Massive waste. Unless I’m wrong, doesn’t the site beside the data center at Front/Parliament - prospective towers- stretch out east to some of the used car lot?
I am curious how Mandy’s will adapt their menu for the Christmas market crowd when people want a place to sit and eat and it’s not time for smoothies or salads.
When someone says a bad spot, I think the worst one is kitty corner to this, where the Long & McQuade was. Zero parking, zero frontage. Busy, uninviting intersection.

Considering they have opened early for Deliveries, and are busy, I suspect they won't rely heavily on walk-ins.
I also got a peak in the side door and asked the lady if I could take a photo but they were still unpacking and she didn't want all the boxes still left to unpack to be in the shot. It looks cool in there. Lots of texture and pastel colours. I would describe it like a pastel hollywood diner, based on the wallpaper and signs. I didn't see the seating inside though.
Since I am a short walk away, I'm going to stop by on May 1st and hopefully get some photos. I would not be surprised if there is a lineup.
Side Note: A crapload of people that visit the Distillery actually walk down Trinity to get to the Distillery. Mandy's is right at the corner. It'll be a very visible location.

Yup! And the rideshare/taxi pickup and dropoff for the xmas market will drop people off pretty much right there. The only space better than this I'd say is where Le Beau ended up, as its right at the streetcar loop.

^Mandys will also have exposure in the courtyard and maybe seating outside. And I guarantee that this is not the only shop going on this side!
