Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

There’s the Gherkin, the Shard, and Walkie-Talkie in London. The Marilyn’s in Mississauga. I just want to dub this the ‘Zipper’, with its vertical narrowing along the balcony ‘teeth’. Looking handsome and sleek this evening…(cells pics)…

Then the scale of this even if they brought glass up to go 2 m above the current parapet wall would hide it enough that it isn't noticeable The thing I've noticed is you have to at least be about a kilometer and a half away in order to see the actual box at the top anything up close and it is hidden by the angle of view

Well unfortunately, most of the city and humanity as a whole is more than a kilometre and a half from this building. They need to build the glazing a bit higher.

Don't know if its been mentioned but the architectual plans from october show a glass crown hiding the mechanical box. Doesn't grantee anything but gives me some hope

If this is correct, then it looks like the glass goes even higher than the top of the TMD roof which would increase the overall height!

Maybe pushing the height to 354 m total? Can't blame a guy for hoping!

So this might seem Hot topic but hear me out watching a thing on Jeddah Tower with the current iteration of the building the spire will be the height of this building
Thats just garbage "vanity height" as it's called. Basically they're slapping a tower on top of a building and still calling the whole thing a building. They did it with the burj and it's no surprise the sheikhs are doing it again with the kingdom tower - because rather than building something useful they care more about image and clout down there

Agreed. A 'tower' is not considered a building, yet if it's on top of a building, it suddenly becomes part of the building's height. Logical, isn't it?
